Dobromiła Smolak has worked with children on the autism spectrum for fifteen years. As a special education teacher, she has provided individual and group therapy to numerous children and taught over fifty preschool and special education seminars in Poland and Ukraine. Her wide range of topics includes the use of play to promote children's social development. She has also worked as a consultant for home-visiting programs to support parents of children with disabilities. Dobromiła has authored articles for pedagogical portals and a therapeutic fairy-tale in a children's magazine. She lives in Kraków, Poland. You can contact the author here.
